Hi Aadhi,

your BIOS needs to support this function, do you know if this is the case?
Can you show us your IPMItool call?
Do you issue the command while OS is running?

You might want to try some different boot parameters to ignore a potential 
reset from your OS.
ipmitool chassis bootparam set bootflag force_bios options=no-reset,no-timeout

On my UEFI HW the set boot options command is working.

Hi,

I am using IPMI to change the boot order on HP DL360 Gen9 hardware.
But the command executes successfully, but the boot order change does not get 
reflected on the next boot.
Does IPMI support UEFI boot?
The hardware is enabled with UEFI boot.
Is there something more that needs to be done on hardware to support IPMI on 
UEFI.
Can you guys help me in here?
