Sorry, I wasn't on the L2TPext list back in March... The minimal modification that RFC2667 should suffer in order to be IPv6 compatible would be, of coarse, having the IP address fields changed from 32 to 128 bits. Another possible change would be including the Flow Label field to the TunnelIfEntry (it includes now LocalAddress, RemoteAddress, EncapsMethod, HopLimit, Security and TOS). TOS can be used as traffic class, so just a name change there.

I pinged the list back in March about L2TP over IPv6 and received nothing but deafening silence. I would hope that any changes in the MIB to support L2TP over IPv6 would be very, very, minimal. > > Thanks in advance, > > ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ > Daniel Feldman > System Engineer, IC4IC Ltd. > office: +972(4)959-4644 ext. 121 > mobile: +972(55)990-299 > fax: +972(4)959-4944 > ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ > > -------------------------------------------------------------------- > IETF IPng Working Group Mailing List > IPng Home Page: http://playground.sun.com/ipng > FTP archive: ftp://playground.sun.com/pub/ipng > Direct all administrative requests to [EMAIL PROTECTED] > -------------------------------------------------------------------- > > _______________________________________________ > L2tpext mailing list > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > https://www1.ietf.org/mailman/listinfo/l2tpext -------------------------------------------------------------------- IETF IPng Working Group Mailing List IPng Home Page: http://playground.sun.com/ipng FTP archive: ftp://playground.sun.com/pub/ipng Direct all administrative requests to [EMAIL PROTECTED] --------------------------------------------------------------------
