I strongly concur with Mark re "MUST". It does not make sense to design in limitations which would require CPE firmware updates or other extreme measures to overcome later. If you feel strongly that DHCP relay should be "off by default", by all means make it so. But, don't design away the capability which some say that their business requires. IPv6 is supposed to be "just like IPv4, only better". Deliberately crippled by design is not "better". James R.
