RFC 3484 describes algorithms for source address selection and
for destination address selection. The algorithms specify
default behavior for all Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6)
implementations. This document specifies a set of updates that
modify the algorithms and fix the known defects.
I can't seem to find the discussion that led to this new draft.
Could you please clarify why 3ffe::/16 was removed from the new
policy table?
The use of 3FFE has been deprecated.
Right, I understand that, but like Tim pointed out, site-locals were
also deprecated and are still in the table. I suspect the 3ffe::/16
traffic is low enough these days not to warrant any entry in the
table, but I wanted confirmation on that.

In my opinion, site-locals should be removed as well.

Brian
