Presentations aid communication during Japanbs disaster
Concerned citizens from around the world have been uploading presentations
with data and photos to communicate the unbelievable devastation that the
earthquake and resulting tsunami created. The scientific community and
emergency response organizations have also been posting presentations on
SlideShare in order to quickly get information out. The International Atomic
Energy Agency continues to post daily briefings to its channel.
You may have seen our blog post, which included presentations from many
perspectives, including emergency housing, geophysics and GPS, and a guide to
non-profit resources. We also appreciate the economic assesment published by
the Economic Intelligence Unit of The Economist, which was added to the
original blog post. We will keep careful watch for useful information in
future presentations, and will make sure to bring them to your attention.

his way to Austin. In return, he promised to post updates, so those not in
attendance could keep up with all the action. As usual, Jessebs slideshow

this year, but all the way back to 2007. If you presented at SXSW, be sure to
