Why are you building undionly.kkkpxe? That is a special target which is only useful when building iPXE with pxelinux.0 embedded (which is not what you're doing). For what you're doing you should be using most likely the undionly.kpxe compilation target. make bin/undionly.kpxe EMBED=../linux_embedded.ipxe Everything else you mentioned seems right. PS: Naming your embedded script ipxelinux.ipxe, when it doesn't actually load pxelinux.0 is a bit confusing, and should be avoided?
