A little closer to the source, there was audio too, Bill. Still somewhat favoring the lower bands, and seemed to peak around 1500UT. The NHK2 big guns were quite big at times; 774 and 828 quite listenable at times. Does anybody know what the story behind the child's choir of "God Save the Queen" at 1455UT on NHK2, heard two mornings now? 639 good with CC pips //5030 across the hour, but was Aussie talk a few minutes before, I'm sure. Other audios, mostly just mumbling, were on 567, 612 (Aussie), 1593, 1422, 1377, 1242, 675 (seemed Asia), 603, 576 (NZ?), 594. 1386 had a woman talking, not NHK2 or CNR1, briefly fair. All except NHK2 (which was also fady, just never quite faded away; still there 1520UT), were quite erratic, popping up for as little as 30 seconds, then back. Probably lots more audio if only the splatter was a little less. best wishes, Nick **************************************************************************** Nick Hall-Patch Victoria, B.C.
