Paul, I'm not sure about the French in your recording. But in the English ID I recorded at 2242 UTC, the announcer clearly says: "This is CJRS, 1650 kHz, Montreal, broadcasting with a thousand watts..." It sounded more like 10,000 here - much louder than Montreal-1610.
