Hi Everyone: CKWA-1210-Slave Lake, AB has been off the air since Friday of last week. This is after at least 5 months of simulcasting with their new FM station, which was reported as being on the air back in September of last year, though I never heard it until the end of October. There were many days they had an open carrier and even a few with nothing, they always came back. In an attempt to find out when they were gonna finallly close down the AM, I emailed the station last Thursday. Never received a reply, but the station was gone next morning. Coincidence?
