Paul, Don't feel bad. What Russ Johnson was really hearing was the creaking of his arthritic bones. He didn't really hear anything on 650 kHz. Nobody in the Carolinas heard KMTI. Now Paul, why don't you pretend to have another bad modulator tube and put WABV on the air at, say, 0200; and "fix" the problem. Broadcast sirens, whoops, tones, "WABV" in CW (morse code, not Country Western).....and finally, play "Dixie" on a harmonica! 73, Charles Charles A Taylor, WD4INP Greenville, North Carolina _______________________________________________ IRCA mailing list IRCA@hard-core-dx.com http://montreal.kotalampi.com/mailman/listinfo/irca Opinions expressed in messages on this mailing list are those of the original contributors and do not necessarily reflect the opinion of the IRCA, its editors, publishing staff, or officers For more information: http://www.ircaonline.org To Post a message: irca@hard-core-dx.com
