Craig, Of course I am no longer in broadcasting, but it does affect me in two ways, my listening to distant stations for enjoyment. Face it, there isn't much of interest in local radio here on the coast. hi. So 99% of my listening are distant AM stations, be it KKOH-780-Reno, KGO-810-SF, KPOJ-620-Portland, KFI-640-LA, and so on. Most are the 50 KWer, but IBOC hash can knock them out too. The exception may be KGO as they are such a powerhouse here nights. Then of course is DXing. Trying to make out some 2 KW Aussie from 8300 miles away does not go hand in hand if I have a 5 KWer buzzsaw next door on the dial. Hopefully phasing on the coast will be a help and mountain ranges between me and IBOC stations. But we shall see where this goes. I have always been a fighter with my hobby and I will continue to do so.
