Another recent example is the former KOLT 92.9 Scottsbluff NE, which was recently relocated south to Warren AFB, Nebraska, serving the larger Cheyenne/northern Colorado market. (It now simulcasts a Spanish-language format from KGRE 1450 Greeley CO.) To get the city of license changed to Warren AFB, the station owner made a showing that the base met all the needed qualifications to serve as a community of license. Neither the studio nor the transmitter are actually on the base, nor do they have to be. s _______________________________________________ IRCA mailing list IRCA@hard-core-dx.com http://montreal.kotalampi.com/mailman/listinfo/irca Opinions expressed in messages on this mailing list are those of the original contributors and do not necessarily reflect the opinion of the IRCA, its editors, publishing staff, or officers For more information: http://www.ircaonline.org To Post a message: irca@hard-core-dx.com
