Stranger things have happed to Stairway to Heaven. There's a version where the original lyrics are replaced with those from the Gilligan's Island theme song. The band does a fairly convincing job sounding like LZ, and from what I've heard LZ's laywer sent them a cease and desist letter shortly after the record was released.
There's also a version recorded by Rolf Harris (the guy who did "Tie Me Kangaroo Down"), complete with a didgeridoo in place of of the guitar solo. Bruce LAWRENCE STOLER wrote: > That was excellent.
