In '99 or so, when I was still at Wireless Review, I wrote about a ham -- K9VDD, I think -- who leased space to a wireless carrier. They replaced his backyard tower with a commercial unit capable of accommodating three carriers, plus his antennas. He also got a monthly lease payment from each carrier, although I can't remember the amount.
