Hi All,

  Just curious, I have been looking on the internet for formulas for making
EWE's different sizes and have not found anything to date.

  My question is this;
  All the EWE's we see appear to be 10-12 high on the legs and 25-50 foot long
on the top wire. I know this seems to be standard, but is it a case of just
playing with the different heights and lenghts to see what the performance is
like or is there a formula to follow?

  For a dipole 492/freq is the formula here, what about for EWE's?

  As of Wednesday this week I will have a new DX location. My wife and I will
be moving down to Cedar Creek, South East of Austin, Texas in Bastrop county.
We have purchased 1 acre there. The block is heavily wooded so I will need to
do a little clearing or thinning out of the trees and under growth. The move is
to be closer to work in Austin.

  I will be interested to contact any other DXers in the area for get togethers
and listening sessions. Please feel free to contatct me.

  Also I pose another question;
  I beleive this topic was covered sometime back on this list, but I will ask
again. I am looking for an appealing method for bringing wires in the radio
shack through a wall. Something the wife will be happy with also.

  Thanks for the replies.
