One of the nice things about loops that are only 20 feet onna side, especially triangular ones is that you can use 24 ga. multi-strand Teflon-coated wire or even 26 or 28 ga. The Teflon insulation gives the wire much more strength, is relatively thin, though it is also expensive. The point of using that very thin wire is that you cut down the wind resistance tremendously. I've had the Wellbrook up in Oklahoma on light fishing poles (also low wind resistance) using 28 ga. wire and had no problems at 60 mph...with unguyed poles, even. The other nice thing with small antennas is that, if they break, fixing them is very fast/easy.... unlike my 70' x100' Big EWEs.
