Patrick, My experience was a lot of noise generated to the point I abandoned the UPS for the PC, because it was causing problems with the receivers. It was not powering the receivers but they were connected to the PC. That was a few years ago, maybe they're better now.
Problem was, the UPS inverter created very dirty 60 Hz, only sine-like waves. Curt ------- W.
