I'm happy you are having fun with your new SRF-59! It's a great little
radio that should be an excellent California travel portable (at 3 ounces,
hi). Pound for pound, the SRF-59 probably has the meanest DX performance on
the planet, more than enough to fascinate anyone willing to give it a try.
Thanks for your kind comments, and I'm glad to play a small part in
this Ultralight DX explosion.
