Was just talking to Walt via a very noisy and reverberant land-line... He sends along best wishes and 73 from his cabin on the Queen Charlotte Islands. His best catch so far was KBRW - Barrow, Alaska this morning at 1600 UTC. He has heard some TA's over the last few days but adds "Conditions appear somewhat Auroral the last 24 hours..." His work will be taking him to Maui in the Hawaiian Islands in February and chances are, his Ultralight will be the most sophisticated receiver he takes along.
