Hi all:

The Definitions Committee has now recognized additional Sony models as
worthy of the name Ultralight Radios, all based on the now-legend CXA1129N
chip, the heart of the SRF-59. These new models include:

SRF-39 SRF-59 ancestor, with FP (clear plastic) and L (LW!) versions
SRF-49 Another ancestor of the SRF-59
SRF-85 Water resistant (not to be confused with the
           currently-produced SRF-M85V)
  SRF-87 Sports model, ultra-mini
  SRF-S80 Ultra-mini, overseas model, similar to S83/S84
  SRF-S83 Ultra-mini, replaced by the S-84
  SRF-S84 Ultra-mini, currently available

If you have one of these and can give me any feedback on its performance,
please let me know! These, along with the previously recognized models,
have a new Gallery on the dxer.ca Web site, which now includes pictures of
color variations of many models. Check it out!
