I hate to say it, but I agree completely. Long threads that rehash a whole conversation are a bad thing, but trying to establish a context for something on a mailing list in order to make sense of the post is difficult and usually meets with the legendary delete key. Control-C to copy and Control-V to paste usually works in most Microsoft software. That would at least give us a clue.
