One of its advantages is that I can play stuff back at fixed half speed (1 7/8) and at variable speeds off of both 3 3/4 and 1 7/8. This is not of much use on voice but it has been helpful digging out Morse code station IDs. Does any of the digital software allow you to do this? Also, do any of them work on a Mac?
