It sounds like you had a milder version of our thunderstorm, which
lasted from about1800 LT last night until 1100 LT today. Some of the
static bursts were strong enough to wipe out KOMO on the car radio.
Thunderstorms aren't very common around here and rarely interfere with
local stations, so this one was quite impressive.
