Walt,

When the upgrade occurs it will actually be 1600 kHz recording, not 1200.
This is because the sampling rate will be bumped up to 2000 kHz, thanks to
the new double rate core in the firmware in Perseus.

This will be handy to extend the coverage above the top of MW, in order to
catch those PNG beacons such as KUT. Also, aren't there some Japanese
fisheries stations or beacons in the 1700-1800 kHz range?
