Speaking of IBOC being off KNX seems to have turned theirs off too. That
only helps me with 1060 because 1080 is pretty much a mess with 1090's
splatter.

Hello Guys,
The big surprise this morning was finding KHHO-850's IBOC silent, and
a
very rare chance to log some TP's usually buried in its buzz saw. 864
had
fair audio on both the 30" loopstick ICF-2010 and modified E100, in
apparent
Korean (will check recording later for clues). 837 had weak audio on the
modified ICF-2010 (presumably NHK1) but faded out before the Ultralight
could be
tried. 855 had a weak heterodyne, as did 846.
KHHO-850's IBOC is still off as I write this (1553 UTC, or 0853 PDT),
allowing very easy reception of Seaside on 840, and Portland on 860, on
the
E100
General conditions were much improved from yesterday, although still
not up to optimum. A quick check of the usual frequencies showed there
was
fairly good propagation, but the rare chance to tune around 850 was an
opportunity not to be missed-- and was interesting indeed.
73, Gary
Modified ICF-2010: 30" Loopstick constructed of four 7.5" Amidon ferrite
bars, wound with 40/44 Litz wire
Modified E100: 7.5" Amidon Slider loopstick + Murata CFJ455K5 IF filter
