1240 to 1300UT listening this morning...not as lively as yesterday, but with more DU action in the "hardly there" category particularly. And, no 1053 today, or 972 for that matter; not even a good carrier
pretty darn good audio (at least briefly): none reasonable audio at times during the period (though often battling w/splash or noise): 594 JOAK 774 JOUB 828 JOBB 1566 HLAZ not so reasonable audio, occasional words in splash or noise: 702 DU direction, and //738 at one point, so likely 2BL 747 JOIB; the strongest NHK2 at 1246UT Burbles in the splatter and noise: 567, not //594 and DU direction; 4JK? 612 DU direction, so 4QR? 639 DU; Fiji? 738 2NR //702, and also Tahiti? FF inflection to talk; this has been delivering audio recently, and normally requires a stronger carrier than I've been hearing. Wonder if they've cranked up the modulation? 756 DU; New Zealand? 954 seemed to be Asiatic; JOKR? 1287 mx, Asiatic direction; JOHR? 1575 likely VoA at 1253UT Strongish het, no audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter): 1242, 1323, 1593 DU? best wishes, Nick ***************************** Nick Hall-Patch Victoria, BC Canada _______________________________________________ IRCA mailing list [email protected] http://montreal.kotalampi.com/mailman/listinfo/irca Opinions expressed in messages on this mailing list are those of the original contributors and do not necessarily reflect the opinion of the IRCA, its editors, publishing staff, or officers For more information: http://www.ircaonline.org To Post a message: [email protected]
