We now have one review of the newly released Grundig G8 on amazon: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B001QTXKF6
What is interesting here is the author's mention of the radio's great FM and AM performance, as well as the fact that the radio displays its SNR in dB. This last feature could be an indication that the G8 uses a DSP chip (despite Eton's claim to the contrary). Now that we know Eton's stated dimensions/weight for the G8 are identical to the PL-300WT (see corrected specs at http://www.etoncorp.com/upload/contents/307/G_G8spec.pdf), the question becomes, are these two radios one and the same?
