What is interesting here is the author's mention of the radio's great FM and AM
performance, as well as the fact that the radio displays its SNR in dB. This
last feature could be an indication that the G8 uses a DSP chip (despite Eton's
claim to the contrary).

Now that we know Eton's stated dimensions/weight for the G8 are identical to the
PL-300WT (see corrected specs at
http://www.etoncorp.com/upload/contents/307/G_G8spec.pdf), the question becomes,
are these two radios one and the same?
