Now you know why you returned to Oklahoma earlier than now in other years John!

Listening from 1450 to 1515UT here yielded unexciting results also. The big
guns would occasionally fade up to big gun-dom, but pretty much everything else
was in the murk or had completely drowned. Only oddment was a brief period
where 639 was hosting something other than CNR-1, and it seemed Asian, but not
//NHK-1 or 2.

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least
briefly):

279 R. Rossii
594 JOAK; someone under, CC?, at 1509
639 CNR-1 //5030 at 1451UT
774 JOUB
828 JOBB; someone under it at 1513

reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a
native speaker,
though often battling w/splash or noise):

747 JOIB
972 HLCA

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could
be understood by a native speaker

639; CNR-1 faded down at 1504UT and a second station w/mx took over for less
than a minute at this level
873 JOGB the only NHK2 station audible at 1503UT (!); language lessons easily
recognizable

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by
cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music) :

576
567 JOIK //594, not until 1509UT
612 JOLK //594 briefly at 1507
666 couldn't snag any parallel
738 2 stations
936 CC sounding talk at 1510UT
1134 2 stations (Korea and Japan?)
1287

Strongish het, no audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter):

1098, 1566

best wishes,

Nick
