TA conditions Friday around local sunset here (2112 UTC) were definiely
not great. Mostly Spain, noted on 531 585 621, 639, 774 & 1116 and
none of them were especially strong. Other than that, BBC-693 &
Saudi-1521 were heard. I wonder if we are moving into the dreaded
MID-WINTER ANOMALY. I realize that is a misnomer since Winter has
technically not yet started. But, that's what Gordon Nelson named it
and the name has stuck so that's good enough for me. Anyway, it's
common for TA conditions, at least here on the East Coast, to take a
dip starting around December 1 and then picking up again around
mid-January. Anyway, we'll keep plugging away and hope for the best.
