Not able to do much DXing with a four month old on my lap ... but conditions
seem a little less stellar than yesterday on the first run through the band.
One good one noted:
1725 EST 963 Finland - not sure what the station is. It's a nordic language, not Russian. // to 963 on Global Tuners from Hano Bay, Sweden, which ought to be Pori. Might be CRI, or something else on the Pori transmitter.
Believe it or not, I'm getting fair audio on 963 in the middle of the
afternoon, too. A bit too much splatter to be sure who it is, but this is
truly amazing! ......Walt
Yes, 963 was doing very well this afternoon. I noted CRI with a strong
signal in German at 2145. Still plenty of signals, but they've dipped
a bit here now as the sun sets. Seems counterintuitive, but over the
last while the best TAs here have been in the daytime.
