This station is in my backyard (literally). I have only heard them use the new 
WQWK calls since they changed, and they are ESPN 24x7. So, Barry could be right 
that it's a similar-sounding call that was heard. However, it's a pretty small 
outfit, and I wouldn't completely rule out the possibility that someone 
inserted an old ID into the system.

I'll listen more and see if I can spot any discrepancies in their ID's
