A very good case can be made for CINF being, until today, the oldest operating broadcasting station in the world. They started as XWA on longwave 250 kHz in the fall of 1919 (Marconi experimental broadcasting station)
then became 9xx (forget the exact call) in 1920 then CFCF in 1922.

Yes, I know about the 1909 claim of WCBS......
