Receiving WWVA this evening here in SE PA on their temporary antenna @ 5kw. The signal is pretty weak on both my Sangean ATS-909 and Grundig YB440PE portables, but is pretty listenable on my Icom R75 with the Terk Advantage Loop Antenna. WWVA is also listenable on my car radio with a little iboc hash from 1180 (I presume). Last night when they were dark all I could hear on 1170 was some faint talking from an unid and a lot of iboc hash. 73, Rene' Rene F.
