Depending on their ground conductivity up here too. Waldport is a lot closer than Coquille. Coquille is over 200 miles and Waldport is 115. KORC is listenable, but does have KGNW QRM. KORC may do some work to improve their tower also. I get the idea from the e mail, KORC wants to sell in Newport/Lincoln City and down into Florence. I don't remember the powerline noise issue in Waldport the last time I was there, but farther down at Reedsport, there is a lot of powerline noise and that was the main reason KDUN boosted power. The PUDs don't seem to have the work crew to run down noise. I am glad we have Pacific Power up here as they try to fix the issues. Time will tell to see what their 5 KW sounds like. I fiqure if I can hear them up here now, the boost should make quite a difference.
