Well, what more can be said than what has already been said? I'm glad I get up early because there still seems to be a tiny bit of activity earlier on, but yes, it was pretty grim by 1400UT, and it was no hardship to head off to work a little after 1430.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly): none.. reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise): 1566 HLAZ at 1305UT....this with the powerful Japanese service beamed at us; nothing later not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker nope Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music) : 639 rhythmic mx, not //4460, likely Fiji? This at 1430, only signal on the band, really 747 and 774, NHK2, just after 1300UT 1143 no idea. Taiwan seems a bit unlikely at this point 1287 possibly JOHR at 1340UT Strongish het, no audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter): 1017 best wishes, Nick ***************************** Nick Hall-Patch Victoria, BC Canada _______________________________________________ IRCA mailing list IRCA@hard-core-dx.com http://montreal.kotalampi.com/mailman/listinfo/irca Opinions expressed in messages on this mailing list are those of the original contributors and do not necessarily reflect the opinion of the IRCA, its editors, publishing staff, or officers For more information: http://www.ircaonline.org To Post a message: irca@hard-core-dx.com
