An odd morning....I didn't check before 1500UT except in the most cursory fashion as it appeared so dull, but there were a number of low level audios around 1515. The big dog in a pile of little dogs was, um, I think CNR-1 on 945 w/CC talk but no hope of a parallel as shortwave is butchered with electrical noise here these mornings (but not MW thank heavens).
As Nigel points out...some TA action this evening, Dec 1, audio snippets from 1215 around 0600UT and following; best audio so far is a brief appearance of woman talking on 1323, presumed VoR at 0621UT; also snippets from 963 at 0605. And, carriers. Of course, was out all evening, hi. pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly): no reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise): nothing here either not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker 945 seemed to be CC talk by woman; no // available, likely CNR-1 Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music) : 594 assumed JOAK 774 JOUB 828 JOBB 954 assumed JOKR at 1520UT 972 HLCA? 1287 JOHR? 1566 HLAZ Strongish het, no audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter): 918, 1098DU, 1332 best wishes, Nick best wishes, Nick ***************************** Nick Hall-Patch Victoria, BC Canada _______________________________________________ IRCA mailing list IRCA@hard-core-dx.com http://montreal.kotalampi.com/mailman/listinfo/irca Opinions expressed in messages on this mailing list are those of the original contributors and do not necessarily reflect the opinion of the IRCA, its editors, publishing staff, or officers For more information: http://www.ircaonline.org To Post a message: irca@hard-core-dx.com
