1240 WHIZ OH Zanesville - 11/3 0500 - "WHIZ - Zanesville!" readable in
local WIFA null. Been chasing this one for 40 years.
1200 WNBL WV Huntington - 12/1 1700 - Good with "You're listening to your
Better Life station, WNBL Huntington, West Virginia" between MoR selections. Now
here from 1470. 1200 #25.
580 WTCM MI Traverse City - 12/16 1700 - Atop and a big surprise with Grand
Traverse Mall ad, "This is Newstalk 580, WTCM Traverse City, 50,000 watts of news,
weather and information 24 hours a day!", and ABC news. 580 #25.
Well, eleven newies in 2010, same as in '09. 3,196 in the log now, no call changes. Log hit the big 4-0 last April 19.
No complaints, but I'd sure enjoy hearing a DX test again! Nothing since
WHYL-960 and WSAR-1480 two winters ago. Eagerly awaiting the three next month.
