Having to make do with brief SDR recordings here at present, but this
morning was an improvement on the 29th I think. Longwaves have
really good carriers using an ALA100 and a small (1.3m on a side)
copper pipe loop, but audio is quite faint here, even though
electrical noise is low with neighbors on vacation, and still have
heard nothing on 180kHz, though 153, 189, 234 and 279 all deliver at
various times.
Notables this morning around 1300UT were 1566 with fair audio (HLAZ),
as well as 612 with Aussie inflected EE. Pips were heard on the
hour on 972 kHz for first audio there this season, presumed HLCA.
Lots of carriers, just not too much audio yet.
best wishes,
Nick
