Not the Knoxville-area station - they dropped the sports format in 2005 and the WQBB calls in 2008.

Two Fox stations that I see listed on 1040 are WQBB, noxville, TN and CKST, The Team in Vancouver, BC. Maybe one of those? No audio, no carrier, no nothing,....nada. This was about 0530 CST. In it's customary place was a "sports radio" station with a short report about the death of an Indy 500 driver. Before they could give their call letters, WHO came back on, their overwhelming, tsunami like carrier bringing dead silence to the frequency until the local host started talking. This was the first time in a very long time, that WHO has been off, so I have absolutely no idea who this was. Any ideas?
