Thanks to all re the 1400/92.7. I heard the 92.7 during the Geminids meteor 
shower. Signal was weak, it seemed like a burst. I will rule out Tropo or Tropo 
scatter as mode of propagation given no other DX from the area. I also doubt a 
translator would bounce via meteor scatter at such a close range. Physically 
possible, perhaps. But too improbable to count without more evidence. Though I 
appreciate the heads-up (and aware from your comments that there may be a 
change at that station). I do have an audio clip I'll post tomorrow (I'm still 
sorting and labeling them). My hunch is  I am mistaking the slogan. Thanks! -
