Have not had my Russian surplus ferrite antenna delivered to the condo yet so have been doing some barefoot listening on a Yacht Boy 400PE Grundig... which does quite well in the evening. As usual, Tahiti on 738 is in clear as a bell by 7:30 PM local time (which is still somewhat dusky out...) Despite our proximity to the equator (Hawaii is not tropical, it is sub tropical...) the Sun is still up at 7 PM.
Anyway -- Gary Debock has kindly shipped my yet another FSL that will arrive tomorrow morning - delivered by the farmer - owner of Blue Horse Kona Coffee -- look them up. -- Colin Newell is the Editor and creator of Coffeecrew.com - DXer.ca - BobHarris.com | Amateur Radio VA7WWV | Twitter.Com/CoffeeCrew | Victoria B.C.
