Hello All,

This morning at the "Rockwork 4" Oregon cliff a pretty vibrant DU signal was
recorded from 1203-1206 UTC on 1017 kHz (with some domestic splatter) having
Polynesian-type choral music and a YL speaking in an unknown language. The
entire routine sounded very much like a sign-off message, but Bruce recorded a
sign-off from this presumed 1017-Tonga around 1108 UTC a day earlier during the
Yachats DXpedition. The format certainly doesn't sound anything like the NZ
Radio Sport/ Newstalk ZB or the Aussie horse-racing station 2KY. Any ideas
would be appreciated-- maybe Tonga signing off an hour later than usual?
