Hello All,

It was another morning of potent low-band TP propagation here, with vibrant
signals from both the big gun and second-tier Asians. Once again there was a
definite surge of the Mainland Asian signals on 603 (HLSA), 639, 648 and 657
late in the session, along with a mix of HLKG and BEL2 on 738 kHz. This
morning's low-band surge wasn't quite up to the standard of yesterday's (or
especially Sunday's), but it still made things very interesting from 1415-1450.
Even 675 kHz managed a fair signal around 1445 (after Dennis' report of VOV
yesterday), but there was just too much domestic splatter on both 670 and 680
to get any identity clues other than an Asiatic language.

The low-band Japanese big guns were especially strong today, with both 594-JOAK
and 747-JOIB hitting their seasonal bests around 1435 during the late-session
surge. The Japanese on 693, 774 and 828 were also very vibrant, along with the
Korean powerhouse 972-HLCA. With the exception of the Chinese CRI stations on
1017 and 1044 (both good at times around 1405), the middle band seemed kind of
depressed, with the 1053-Jammer and 1134-KBS down from their usual strength.
Like yesterday, the high band seemed to have been left out of the propagation
scheme, with only 1566-HLAZ managing any decent audio here (fair to good around
1335). Overall it was another interesting morning, although a little more
propagation would have been welcome on frequencies like 675 :-)
