Hello All,

Despite the dire solar predictions some fair Asian signals made it through this
morning, with even a fairly good sunrise enhancement period-- something that
has been pretty unusual lately. Like Dennis I noticed that none of the signals
from 1440-1510 were particularly strong, although 1575-VOA did reach a fairly
potent level during sunrise enhancement.

My own session started off around 1430, with strange stations like 738-BEL2 and
936-Anhui again managing fair audio while the Japanese big guns were down in
the noise (like two days ago). 972-HLCA was in and out with fair to good audio
from 1430-1500, and 648-VOR occasionally broke through the CISL splatter with
apparent English during this period. Other than this unusual collection of
Asians there was no other TP audio during the predawn darkness here. Around
1515 sunrise enhancement started to bring up the signals from 1575-VOA (very
good audio in and out around 1540), 1593-CNR1 (fair around 1535), 1377-CNR1
(poor to fair around 1545) and 648-VOR (fair at 1543). Except for occasional
poor audio from 594-JOAK, 747-JOIB and 828-JOBB the Japanese seemed to be MIA
this morning, along with the Korean big guns on 1053 and 1566. That was pretty
much the story of another strange morning.
