Rob - you missed out. If you'd taken the radio outside you would have heard 738
Tahiti every night and some DU. In September of 2001 I heard KOMA (now KOKC) on
a rental car radio at an observation area off the highway between Lahaina and
Kihei.

Well Mike I did listen to KINE FM but while we were driving around in the
car!!! The Local music was a great back drop to thew breath taking scenery in
Hawaii!!!

Just never got a chance to actually DX with the ULRs .We were in a High Rise
Condo right on the beach in Kaanapali Shores, MAUI.. but the last year when we
were there it was very noisy in the condo so I'm guessing it would be about the
same this year. Too Many Big Screen TVs and Computers/Routers etc, goofing up
the band!!!

Had no problem keeping busy without the Radios but I always take them just in
case.
