After speculating "no enhancement" this morning, it turned out there was a bit of a DU one in the upper band. Mostly the usual Asians earlier, though there seemed some hints of China also (1017 981 945....). Things were terribly splashy again this morning, making things difficult.

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):

not today

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

747 JOIB EE lessons among the splash 1239UT, talking about the BBC "they are famous for making high quality TV and radio programs"
1566 HLAZ man in JJ 1251UT

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

774 JOUB EE lesson hilarity 1216UT
972 HLCA woman in KK 1318UT, change of scene from the DUs; woman talking, man agreeing at 1325UT
1053 KK jammer 1303UT
1539 Radio Tab likely, with a classic horse racing announcing sequence 1317UT, few words of DU EE here and there. Someone had won by 1318UT 1548 4QD sudden burst of pop mx 1307UT, man in DU EE; ID'd earlier (and weaker) with ABC nx fanfare at 1300UT

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music) :

702 man talking, DU EE? 1135UT, some sort of sports announcing?
738 Tahiti? vocal pop mx 1138UT
1017 slow instrumental mx then woman in unID language, couldn't say if KK...1234UT
1296 man talking 1313UT, too much splash, but maybe DU EE?
1323 pop mx? mostly the bass line creeping through 1320UT; trying for 1296 parallel, but 1296 down by now.

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary"audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter):

819 828 864 909 945 963 981 1008 1098 1134 1152 1251 1287

best wishes,

Nick
