Hello All,

This morning's dreary session was probably the worst clunker of the new season
so far, with only a couple of Asians managing very poor audio. With conditions
obviously disturbed and without any South Pacific propagation (in this DU-dead
zone), it was a real challenge to track down any TP audio at all.

At the 1230 start time there wasn't a single Asian managing even a weak carrier
here, and this total shutout continued until about 1250, when feeble carriers
started showing up on 594, 603, 657 and 738. None of these sounded like they
would amount to much even when daylight broke around 1305, but the carrier
strengths of 594-JOAK and 657-Pyongyang very slowly increased during sunrise
enhancement until both of them managed a few seconds of very poor audio around
1325. The carriers on 603 and 738 fizzled out without ever reaching audio, and
there wasn't a single Asian with even a decent carrier above 738 here all
morning. It was a pretty miserable session, but probably not a great surprise
in this solar-challenged new season.

73 and Good DX,
