Today didn't have as much to offer as yesterday, but the results turned out much better than it first appeared. Starting at 1330, there was nothing in the way of audio, and even the carriers weren't very impressive. Starting around 1350 though, the Japanese big guns quite rapidly increased in strength, reaching fair levels of audio on 693, 747, 774, and 828. JOAK on 594 did even better, easily overcoming the IBOC noise with good solid signal at 1400. About the best level of the season for that one. Also heard the NHK time pips on 702 at 1400, though not much else. This sunrise enhancement didn't extend to the upper end of the dial, which remained devoid of TPs beyond carriers on the usual suspects.
