Hello All,

Yesterday's improvement in Asian signals did not continue this morning,
although a late sunrise enhancement boost did allow some big guns to be heard
as late as 1510. With the exception of persistent signals from 603-HLSA and
657-Pyongyang the TP audio was limited to a few big guns, however, and they
didn't sound as strong as they did yesterday.

At my 1335 start time the Japanese and Korean big guns on 594, 693, 747, 774,
972, 1053 and 1566 were in and out with fair to good signals, but propagation
generally tapered off from there, leaving the big guns without much energy
until a late sunrise enhancement boost around 1440 (which also brought 1575-VOA
up to a fair level). 594-JOAK was the strongest of these like it was yesterday,
but it could only manage good audio at best. 603-HLSA and 657-Pyongyang were
the only second tier Asians to show up, and they both sounded pretty anemic
until they also tapped into the late sunrise enhancement around 1440, bringing
them up to fair levels. 603-HLSA was the only Asian with improved audio over
yesterday, hitting a fair to good level with Korean conversation just before
1445. The Chinese stations were not at all impressed with this morning's
propagation and stayed down in the noise, while the high band did feature
1566-HLAZ at a good level around 1335 and 1575-VOA at a fair level around 1500.
With the late propagation boost 594-JOAK, 693-JOAB, 603-HLSA and 972-HLCA all
continued to manage weak audio until around 1510, when the increasing daylight
sent them down into the noise. It wasn't one of the season's better sessions,
but probably nothing to complain about considering the low TP-DXing
expectations that we have come to develop over the past few months.
