Hello All,

Bill W. seems to have accurately predicted a TP propagation drop off this
morning, with most of the Asian big guns staying at anemic levels. The sole
exception here was 693-JOAB, which somehow seemed to buck the trend around 1435
with good signals during an NHK2 radio drama.

It was pretty obvious at 1430 that yesterday's favorable conditions were long
gone, with nothing on the entire band sounding very healthy except for the 693
exception. 594-JOAK and 972-HLCA were struggling to stay above the noise during
sunrise enhancement, while only 1134-KBS and 1503-JOUK were managing weak audio
on the high band. The anemic Asians on 594, 972, 1134 and 1503 received no
sunrise boost, sending them prematurely into the noise by 1510. On the other
hand 693-JOAB's strength was pretty unusual for such mediocre conditions,
hitting good peaks in and out during sunrise enhancement. It was the one bright
spot of a pretty lackluster session, with its overall performance about the
same as yesterday's. In general, though, Bill may discover that this morning's
Grayland files are unlikely to be the high point of his trip.
